After a kopi-session, followed by an hour of chasing down fuzzy green balls and dinner in the ghetto, we came up with this idea of a newsletter, photozine or whatever we'll like to call it in the future. Let me explain further.
We're looking at this idea of producing a bi-monthly 136 periodical. This periodical will consist of one individual photo project from each one of us - be it a fashion spread, a photo story or a 1 x jialat jialat dua zhong shoot. Accompanying that, a write-up should follow to give some description of the project.
Right now, we can start with an online publication on this blog and fork out a few dollars each to get one copy printed for each of our own keepsakes. But eventually, we're thinking of getting it out to the masses in the future. There's certainly potential; this periodical can be a mailer for 136, for us, bring in interest and hopefully, jobs in the future. Or it can be nice wallpaper. Either way, we win lah.
For our first issue, we've thought of starting everything from scratch. It will be about 136, the whys, the whos and the hows. Where we're from, what we hope to achieve as a group and what we're about. And then individually, we can include some of our past works and a short description of ourselves, for eg: background, where we wanna go, what hopeless romantic photographic dreams we have etc.
So let's get started. Write your 'biography' by end of Febuary, we can come out to discuss more about the 136 part, the publication layout and everything in between. Let's stop talking, sitting on our butts, doing nothing and get some work done (this is for me).Yes, We Can!
Cheers.

Looking For: Images
Hello 136,
My friend and I are selling some photographs (in forms of postcards, bookmarks and a photozine) at an upcoming flea market and we're looking for people to join us. Here's the story.
We're planning to produce this photozine with an idea that runs along the lines of spontaniety, humor and Singaporean-ness. It will be a small booklet A6 in size, 8 - 10 pages thick, there'll be a photograph and a bit of text on each page and maybe it opens up into an A3 poster or folds open to form a panoramic sheet. The designs are still in progress, but we are now collecting photographs that will be put into the zine.

Who we are.
Dear all current members of 136, (well thats just the 4 of us for no) :)
I think on top of the revamp of our look, we should also look into have some discussion and write ups about who we are and what we aim to do as a group, so that the unwitting public who chance upon this site will at least know who we are and what we do:)
nice shot bro!! *upzz for you bro haha!!

Say Yes to Change
Dear 136,
I think we need to change the look of our blog... to something less template-ish. Needless to say, before the arrow gets shot out of its bow, I, as the resident bum of 136, shall volunteer to make it happen. In the very long while that I will take to do the new blog design, may I suggest using this layout temporarily.
Cheers,
Des
